HTC – MAX3485: IC transmits signals at high speed with low noise ratio

MAX3485 includes a receiver and a transmitter for high-speed data transmission up to 10Mbps. The product supports Slew-Rate Limited function to help reduce interference, ensuring error-free data transmission even at high speeds. The ability to limit current and turn off the heat for the driver, over-load, over-current, and over-temperature protection is integrated on the IC.   

HTC’s MAX3485 has very low current consumption, only 425uA when Idle or load disabled. The driver is short-circuit current limited and protected against excessive power dissipation during elevated temperatures. The IC input is always safe for logic high output if the input is open circuited.
