Hair dryer solution – Brushless DC motor with BLDC hair dryer driver

Recently, hair dryers on the market often encounter damage due to excessively high temperatures, causing many inconveniences and negatively affecting the quality of life of users. Understanding that, EPI Viet Nam Technologies introduces a hair dryer solution controlled by a BLDC motor with high precision through the use of specialized electronic components from brands that EPI is distributing such as Toshiba, ESMT, Alphawire,….. 

Toshiba has researched and developed a BLDC motor control MCU product with an accuracy fluctuation of less than ±1% to improve performance compared to other hair dryers on the market. Using a dedicated MCU to control Brushless motors, this solution has significantly improved operating efficiency, providing multiple interfaces and pre-programmable motor control options (A-PMD ), 32-bit advanced encoder (A-ENC32), advanced vector plus engine (A-VE+), and three high-speed, high-resolution 12-bit analog/digital converter units. 

In addition, the functions of overcurrent protection, power limit, phase shift, rotor stop are the solution for the 150W demo board with input voltage of AC, maximum power of 150, gate driver and MOSFET uses IPM module.
