Richwave - RTC6701: FM/FSK transmitter with output power up to +11.5dBm

The RTC6701 integrates an RF modulator, dual-channel audio modulators, and a power amplifier with output power up to +11.5dBm. The RF modulation block includes a built-in 2.4 GHz VCO-based frequency synthesizer, which generates a 2.4 GHz FM signal modulated by audio input through two audio channels (Left/Right).

The chip features two audio modulators for stereo input, providing FM-modulated audio signals at 6 MHz and 6.5 MHz, respectively. The transmission frequency can be configured either through internal registers via SPI programming, or by selecting from four fixed channels using three dedicated pins. The output power, selectable between +1.5dBm and +11.5dBm, is configured via pins 28 and 29, allowing compliance with CE/FCC requirements and ensuring a strong, clear signal.
