Winbond – TrustME W77Q: Secure Flash Memory – A Safe Storage Solution for Systems

Winbond unveils the new generation of secure Flash memory, the W77Q – TrustME, with Common Criteria EAL 2+ security certification

More information

Winbond’s TrustME® W77Q Secure Flash Memory provides a safe storage solution for systems with limited space, pins, and power supply, meeting the Common Criteria EAL 2+ security certification requirements. The W77Q memory is a replacement for the W25Q NOR Flash, offering advanced security, flexibility, high reliability, and performance far exceeding conventional NOR Flash devices.

The W77Q series, with densities of 256Mb, 512Mb, and 1Gb, features cutting-edge technology that supports asymmetric key encryption algorithms and enables devices to facilitate secure OTA with PQC asymmetric signatures and Secure Supply Chain through LMS-OTS (NIST 800-208). W77Q devices support high-performance Quad-SPI at 166MHz and include a Replay Protected Memory Block (RPMC) with 8 counters for PC deployment. The 512Mb and 1Gb devices allow for simultaneous read and write operations, enhancing performance for software OTA operations.

Additionally, the W77Q series provides significant security levels in accordance with cybersecurity regulations, optimized for consumer IoT, industrial IoT, critical infrastructure devices, MFPs, industrial PCs, and server applications.
