Phison PS5012-E12S (Phison E12S) is a variant of Phison’s PS5012-E12 (Phison E12), retaining top-tier Gen3 performance while optimizing both power consumption and PCB space. E12S-powered SSD solutions represent one of the most compelling PCIe Gen3 client platform upgrades—whether transitioning from a SATA SSD or traditional HDD. As a fully DRAM-equipped PCIe Gen3 solution, the E12/E12S can deliver outstanding sequential performance of over 3400 MB/s, while maintaining consistent throughput with minimal latency.

The Phison E12/E12S SSDs are considered an ideal upgrade for users seeking high-speed data throughput via PCIe Gen3. Supporting up to 8 flash channels and 32 Chip Enables (CE), the controller is compatible with both major NAND flash interfaces—ONFI and Toggle—allowing scalable storage capacities from 512 GB to 8 TB.
