EPSON – M-A370AD10: Compact, Low-Noise 3-Axis Accelerometer for Infrastructure Monitoring Systems

M-A370AD10 – Advanced 3-axis accelerometer from Epson with optimized design and low noise for seismic monitoring and structural health monitoring

More information

In the context of increasing natural disasters and aging infrastructure, the demand for accurate, stable, and energy-efficient monitoring solutions has become essential. To meet these needs, Epson introduces the M-A370AD10 – a next-generation 3-axis accelerometer delivering high-precision data for earthquake monitoring, continuous microtremor measurement, as well as tilt and structural aging assessment.

The M-A370AD10 stands out with its exceptionally low-noise performance, surpassing high-noise reference models such as the USGS standard, thanks to Epson’s proprietary MEMS (Micro-Electro-Mechanical Systems) manufacturing technology combined with advanced digital IP technology. It offers a wide dynamic range and high bias stability, enabling the detection of micro-vibrations imperceptible to humans, supporting geological structure analysis and long-term structural health monitoring with outstanding accuracy.

In addition, its low power consumption and integrated digital output simplify measurement system design, reducing the need for additional hardware compared to conventional analog-output sensors. The M-A370AD10 contributes to the digitalization of monitoring and infrastructure health management, enhancing system reliability while supporting the development of safe and sustainable infrastructure in the modern era.
