KA84917UA is capable of measuring the charging and discharging current of the battery using a voltage drop sensor through a shunt resistor with a product measurement accuracy of less than 0.3%. As a result, the product improves the reliability and performance of the battery management system, ensuring accurate measurements of the battery’s SOC state of charge and SOH state.  

Additionally, it supports isolated two-way Daisy Chain communication and synchronous communication with other battery monitoring ICs at speeds up to 2.5 Mbps. The IC meets ISO26262 ASIL-D standards, enhancing functional safety, ensuring the system operates stably and safely, in accordance with standards in the automotive industry. Can operate in the temperature range from -40°C to +125°C, suitable for harsh environmental conditions, especially in automotive applications.
