Nisshinbo - NJL5830R: Reflective optical sensor with high resistance to ambient light
Nisshinbo’s NJL5830R is a reflective optical sensor, integrating a high-power infrared LED and an optical sensor IC on the module.
The NJL5830R sensor allows control of buttons without physical contact, helping to prevent bacterial contamination, and improve hygiene. NJL5830R integrates anti-interference function between adjacent sensors, ensuring operation even when there are many sensors close together. The sensor is highly resistant to environmental light, helping to prevent environmental influences and can be used outdoors.
In addition, with a current consumption of about 2.7mA, the sensor is energy efficient, suitable for mobile applications and power saving applications. NJL5830R has a very fast response speed, only 200us, and processes data quickly. NJL5830R has a compact size of only 21mm2 of PCB area, easily integrated into existing devices.
NJL5830R is a suitable product for applications such as control panels and stair buttons, vending machines, cash dispensers, faucet controls, automatic hand washing machines, etc.
