Holtek - BC45B4523: Application IC for NFC card reader development

BC45B4523 is an NFC reader controller that supports 13.56 MHz transmission frequency. The IC is compatible with ISO 14443A, ISO 14443B and ISO 15693 protocols to support Crypto_M encryption and decryption functions as a solution for receiving signals from magnetic cards. Additionally, the ISO 14443A/B protocol provides four bit rate options of 106kbps, 212kbps, 424kbps and 848kbps.  

The multi-protocol BC45B4523 can work with a wide range of NFC tags, making it an effective solution for secure transmission over short distances. LDO 3.3V, maximum output current 150mA is fully integrated into the IC. Furthermore, the up to 250mA IC integrates a low power mode for automatic tag detection.
