Sales Assistant

JOB DESCRIPTION

1. Quotation Handling

  • Receive BOM Lists from Sales/Customers, send them to the Sourcing team for pricing, and support price negotiation with suppliers to meet the customer’s target price. Return the final quotation to the Sales team or directly to the Customer in some cases.

  • Propose purchase and selling prices to the Sales team, ensuring profitability targets.

2. Customer Care

  • Maintain regular contact with customers to provide order updates.

  • Build and strengthen relationships through phone, email, and other communication channels.

  • Create, manage, and update customer profiles and records as needed.

3. Order Tracking

  • Support Sales in entering bookings on the company’s internal CRM system.

  • Coordinate with the Customer Service team to track order progress and ensure timely delivery.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Graduated or final-year student in technical majors (Electrical Engineering, Electronics & Telecommunications) who enjoys working with data; or in relevant fields such as Economics, Commerce, Import-Export, etc.

  • Preferably with 6 months to 1 year of experience in Inside Sales or Sales Assistant roles at trading companies.

  • Strong communication and negotiation skills.

  • Good command of English communication.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.

  • Good teamwork skills.

  • Quick learner, proactive, responsible, and honest.

  • Strong sense of collaboration and team spirit.

  • Passionate about Sales and motivated to grow in a business development career.
