Quality Control Intern

Job Description:

1. Assist IQC staff in quality inspection of incoming components and goods:

• Propose appropriate inspection methods for each type of component and customer-specific requirements.
• Perform inspection tasks: search and review technical documents, datasheets, and drawings, then apply them to inspect components directly.
• Record inspection data (photos, inspection criteria, etc.).
• Isolate and store defective items to prevent them from progressing to the next departments.

2. Handle issues related to component and product quality:

• Create detailed RMA reports describing defect phenomena to coordinate with suppliers.
• Collaborate with the purchasing department to negotiate warranty, replacement, or compensation policies when defective components are found.

3. Resolve and rework defective products:

• Propose and implement corrective actions for minor defects that do not affect the functionality or standards of components to ensure on-time delivery.

Job Requirements:

• Education: Currently studying or about to graduate from college or university, majoring in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Automation, etc.
• Basic English communication skills, ability to read and understand technical documents.
• Proficient in MS Office.
• Good negotiation, relationship-building, and communication skills.
• Enthusiastic, attentive, detail-oriented, and observant.
• Planning and documentation skills.
• Careful and quick-thinking attitude at work.
