The NA1150 from Nisshinbo integrates load diagnosis functionality, which helps detect early faults such as speaker disconnection and short circuits, and notifies the microcontroller for timely corrective actions. With a direct PWM input from the MCU, it allows direct connection to the microcontroller without the need for additional components like DAC, low-pass filters, or voice synthesis LSI, helping to minimize noise and improve sound quality.

In addition to providing an output power of up to 1.5W with low THD+N, the integrated H-bridge circuit reduces the number of components and installation space while still ensuring clear and high-quality sound. The NA1150 also incorporates protection mechanisms such as under-voltage lockout (UVLO), over-temperature detection, and over-current protection, ensuring reliability in harsh conditions. With a quiescent current of only 2.0mA, the NA1150 helps save energy and is compatible with various automotive power supply systems.
