BLOOD GLUCOSE METER SOLUTION USING ELECTROCHEMICAL METHOD
Blood glucose meters are important tools to help control blood glucose levels, an essential element in health management, especially for people with diabetes. To get accurate and fast results, today’s modern measuring devices use electrochemical methods, measuring DC current, AC impedance and phase angle, thereby accurately calculating blood glucose concentration.
EPI Vietnam Technologies offers blood glucose meter solutions using advanced electrochemical technology, integrating Holtek’s BH67F2485 Flash microcontroller. With highly integrated electrochemical and phase angle measurement AFE circuits, the solution is capable of accurately measuring metrics such as DC current, AC impedance and phase angle from the reaction between blood and enzymes. The measured values will be used to calculate blood glucose concentration accurately and reliably.
Glucose meters use DC excitation voltage and are highly accurate in measuring the electrical current generated from enzyme reactions in the blood. At the same time, the device measures AC impedance and phase angle under various excitation frequencies and voltages to maintain accuracy under all conditions. With phase angle measurement accuracy of up to ±0.3° and impedance measurement accuracy of ±1%, solutions from EPI’s partners Hotek & Epson ensure blood glucose measurement results are always accurate, stable and reliable. Safe.
