UnitedSic - ACT88320 : ActivePMU™ series integrated power management unit (PMIC)

The ACT88320 is a flexible power management solution with reconfigurability via the I²C interface for application to a variety of devices without the need for PCB changes. The product has an input voltage range from 2.7V to 5.5V with integrated voltage blocking function up to 20V to ensure stable operation in a variety of power conditions and increase flexibility.  

In addition, ACT88320 integrates 3 DC/DC step-down converters with current levels of 4A, 2.5A and 2.5A to provide stable and efficient power for the device, minimizing energy loss. Two LDOs with current up to 200mA ensure voltage stability for sensitive circuits and improve overall system performance.  

UnitedSic designed the Buck 1 converter in the ACT88320 to be reconfigurable into Bypass mode, saving energy and reducing power loss when idle. With the above advantages, ACT88320 is a suitable product for application in SSD Hard Drives, Microcontrollers, FPGAs, Mobile consumer electronic devices, etc.
