Supplier Development Manager

Job Description:

1. Strategic Supplier Relationship Management

  • Develop and execute comprehensive collaboration strategies with key strategic suppliers, including growth planning, product portfolio management, and partnership optimization.
  • Analyze each supplier’s strengths and weaknesses to propose tailored strategies that maximize competitive advantage.
  • Establish performance evaluation criteria and regularly organize or participate in Business Reviews or meetings to maintain quality and effectiveness.

2. Cross-functional Coordination with Sales/Technical Teams

  • Work directly with internal departments (Sales, Engineering, etc.) to ensure supplier objectives are aligned with the company’s goals.
  • Support negotiation of commercial terms, pricing, and financial agreements to ensure mutually beneficial outcomes.

3. Business Opportunity Development

  • Proactively identify business opportunities leveraging suppliers’ unique capabilities (e.g., exclusive products, new technologies) to contribute to the company’s business development strategy.

4. Collaboration with Brand Marketing

  • Participate in both online and offline marketing activities related to distributed products and supplier brands to enhance supplier image and market visibility.

Job Requirements:

  • University degree or equivalent experience in Engineering/Electronics or related fields.
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant experience.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills in English.
  • Solid knowledge of the Electronics, Telecommunications, and Electronic Components sectors.
  • Strong understanding of company products/services, customer applications, key manufacturers and their products, and competitor landscape.
  • Strong planning, execution, and project tracking skills.
  • Problem-solving abilities, adaptability, and a keen business sense.
  • Able to work independently while collaborating effectively in team settings.
  • Proficient in data analysis, performance evaluation, and strategic decision-making.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to influence and persuade high-level stakeholders.
  • A good listener with strong collaboration and commitment skills.
