Toshiba offers reference design "PFC power supply for 3-phase 400V AC input" (RD004) - using SiC MOSFET TW070J120B to help you shorten product research and development time. The design achieves up to 97% conversion efficiency and a power factor greater than 0.99.

What are the advantages of SiC MOSFETs?

SiC MOSFET uses a new material, achieving high voltage tolerance, high speed switching and low turn-on resistance compared to conventional silicon (Si) MOSFET, IGBT products. Therefore, it will contribute to reducing power consumption and reducing size, suitable for systems requiring compactness and high efficiency of energy conversion such as electric vehicle charging systems, solar power systems, energy storage systems, etc.
